Marimba, drums, guitar , piano, clarinet. Harmonicall and formally this is just a simple pop song with a slightly more challenging rhythmic structure based on a double-marimba riff in two bars of 7/8 and two bars of 7/16 with a B-section in 7/4. Instruments trade roles from section to section. Written and recorded as a distraction from the restless, tense anticipation in the weeks leading up to the 2008 election.
